Doug Walker was an unsigned artist for a number of years, busily writing songs on his piano and playing live in Manchester and London. One day he got signed by Warner Bros Records UK. He recorded his debut album and went on tour for a few months, this time playing in other cities, towns and villages too. He had a blast doing so. About half an hour later Doug got dropped by said record label without them releasing his debut album. Tis a travesty. Doug is once again an unsigned artist. As historical records show, only one of Doug Walker's songs has yet been released for the public to hear. Doug's debut single 'The Mystery' which he produced with pots and pans and 20p made 36 in the UK chart, pretty much solely thanks to the incredibly generous Radio 1 DJ Chris Moyles who enthusiastically supported Doug's mission to get more than 30 people to hear his music by playing it on his breakfast show...alot. In fact about 8 million people heard it all of a sudden. Doug has been writing melodic nugget after melodic nugget for the last few months and is making plans to unleash them soon.........
