Welcome to my MySpace account. My name is Jason Dowd and I am a photographer by trade. I came to MySpace for a few reasons, 1 to network my business, and 2 to meet new people from across the world.
Dowd Studios is the studio I own, I been operating now for 4 years. I am a home based business and cater to corporations, schools, charities, personal, modeling and sporting needs in the Tampa Bay area. We are a 100% mobile studio so we can come set up right in the comforts of your home or office. We offer affordable packages and services you will find convenient like Passports and Employee ID’s. We are now focusing on Fine Art Portraitures and we accept TFP work as well. Anything you want photographed we will (within the law of course)
I also do artistic photography, and sell my work. From time to time my work ends up in galleries across the USA, live shows and fairs and of course coming soon .. at my web site.
Personally, I was born in Bristol CT, and went to Immanuel Lutheran School from 1984-1989, when I moved to Florida. I then went to Sanders Elementary for a few months in 1990 before going to Pine View Middle. I graduated in 1997 from Land O Lakes High School when I pursued a career in drafting. I soon realized I hated the field and took up photography. I worked almost all my school days at Scotty’s Hardware, and the Picture People in Brandon. In 2000 I married my lovely wife and been married ever since. My anniversary is July 15, 2000. We have a dog named Buttons, and a turtle. I love to travel, art, view historic places, and go to sporting events. I have seen 35 states and Mexico. One of my passions right now is Ghosts and Ghost Hunting. They have fascinated me for years and I am always wanting to learn more.
I am an avid Spongebob Squarepants fan! Yes I do love cartoons, they are a work of art. I love all sports really, though the Patriots are my favorite NFL team! GO PATS!
