As of Dec 2009, Downfall officially disbanded. The reasons can be found in the final blog entry.
All 5 members of Downfall are working on a new project called Kinasis (www.myspace.com/kinasis) who will be making their debut in 2010.

Bio:
Formed from the ashes of Bridgwater death metallers Embodiment; Downfall mixed their Death Metal, Grindcore and Thrash influences with more contemporary metal to create their own unique brand of extreme metal.
Despite only having released a couple of demo's and a handful of self-released e.p.s; Downfall amassed a small, but rabid international following with several of their MP3 tracks becoming top 10 hits in the rock/metal MP3 charts at http://www.soundclick.com and www.mp3.com (r.i.p.)

Intense thrash metal that tops the intensity of what went before. Not for the faint hearted. Downfall gave the Cavern one last dose of metal and gave it their all exploding onstage and powering their way through a short set. Downfall are very tight onstage and very accomplished musicians. Giving the evening put on by Infectus a brutal and ferocious ending.
