  • Music

    wide variety of interests, blues, jazz, metal, alternative, classical. Depends on how I'm feeling. When I'm working music is always a part of my process. Music sets the tone of my work.

  • Movies

    I love documentaries. I want films to teach me something either about myself or this world we live in. I also enjoy stories that tap every emotion. Make me laugh, make me cry. Yeah I can cry its a good thing.

  • Television

    Don't particularly watch much. unless its SPEED Channel or antiques roadshow, love that stuff! The "idiot box" is not something that brings too much good to our world. Just a great way to waste time getting dumbed down!

About me:

downforce-imaging.blogspot.com DOWNFORCE IMAGING is one outlet for an ever evolving range of artwork that I do. My areas of interest are varied and range from car/motorcycle culture to promotional material for musicians. I am also interested in creating work that aids in the resergence of the vibrant city that I call home, Youngstown, Ohio. This city has such a vast talent base of artist/creative types that needs to be nutured and exposed to the world and to those right here in ohio. There are some great artists doing wonderful work right here. Art collectors and performing arts fans need not travel to NY or LA for vibrant thought provoking work. Artists are like sponges, we collect all that life presents to us and then we filter it out through are work and show others how we see the world we live in. Thats what this space is about, to show one artists' take on this life in this time.

Who I'd like to meet:

Anyone who is passionate about their art work of any medium are people who I want to meet and consider friends. I enjoy seeing how other artists do their thing and enjoy learning from them and maybe they can learn something from me. As an artist among artists' we learn from everything we come in contact with and I truly enjoy that interaction with other creative types of people.

    Yes, I can relate to the sadistically busy concept! I have a shoot on Friday that has turned into a 5 model shoot, I don't know how it happened, it started out with just one simple 6'4" guy? Thats the story of my life :). Hey, if you are free this Friday, you are surely welcome, the more the merrier! Glad to hear you've got some great projects going and if you need help gettin Joanimal in line lemme know, I've got some secrets :). I LOVE pinnup and old cars, can't wait to see the results. I heard about that show at TAG, didn't have enough lead time to enter and no, I didn't know Mitch was involved, I mita got my ass ina faster gear and got it done! I will defiantely check out yer work at the Oakland, thanks for lettin me know. And I also wanted to tell you if you're still workin on that appreciate Ytown project........if theres anything I can do to help, let me know, it's an awesome plan!!! Carry on Photo Dude!!.........N.
