Time for some good news here, all right fuckers we just finished recording our new lumps of shit. Drums and guitar section is already recorded and stored in the studio as file and will remain rough until we started working for the bass and vocals in the next couple of weeks. Promo CD “09” will be out by March and other songs will be featured in the 4-way split with Cumbeast (Finland), Defleshuary (USA), Decrepit Womb (UK) and Down from the wound (PHIL). What’s up sickos? Ok we have tons of new updates here. We’ll start off the new recording, the 3rd song for the Promo 09 is already finished and we’re about to record them in the next couple of days. We also have a new long sleeve shirt out soon on Reverb Productions Malaysia, a zip hooded sweat shirt out soon on Bloodline Productions Thailand and a new T-shirt with artwork by Braindrained. Plus, Down from the wound official website is 70% completed and hope to access it soon.

What’s up sickos? It has been quite a while since the last update, so here we go. Tristan Dela Cruz is back in the fold. Yes you heard it right sickos, After his last appearance with the band at Hymns of Disembowelment 2 he is now ready to take his duty again for Down from the wound.
For now, we are focused to complete the 3rd song for the promo cd coming out early next year. The first and second song is already finished. In addition, we also got new merchandises out to come, watch out for the new shirt and long sleeve shirt. Till next updates, happy holidays!!!

What's up sickos? We have tons of updates here. Tristan has parted ways with the band but the good news is, we already found a replacement for him and his name is Jeryk Sebastian. We started jamming along with him few weeks ago and so far He’s doin so good. We are also scheduled to play on October 3rd for the Defiled show here in Manila together with Hydrophobia, both bands are from Japan. Aside from that, we are also scheduled to enter studio this coming December to record new songs and come out with a promo 2009 early next year.

DOWN FROM THE WOUND Started late 2001 and it all began in a small town called San Marcelino in the province of Zambales located at the Northern part of the Luzon Island Philippines. Originally formed by Jeff and Randyl, the band had undergone a lot of member changes until the line up was completed in October 2004 and fortunately gained stability. Tristan Dela Cruz (vocals) Jeff Compañero (guitars) and Randyl Manglicmot (drums) aims to spread a massive brutality through their music. The band quickly began writing new materials heavily influenced by Disgorge USA and Devourment USA. Shortly after, the first self titled demo was recorded and released early 2005 and it got a lot of good feedback. After a little over a year of practicing, an old friend of the band Rust Honra joined the group filling for bass but unfortunately, he was then kicked out off the band due to some schedule conflicts. The band again decided to enter the studio to record their follow up demo “Piercing Through the veil of lies” and was released October of 2005. The follow-up demo got a much better feedback than the previous one. It reached the attention of local and international fanzines, webzines andlabels as well. The tracks from the follow-up demo was re-mastered and came out in the 2-way split with Pus Vomit titled Split Disembowelment (mid 2006) under Berdugo Records and Condemned Records. October 2006, the band recorded ten tracks and planned to release it as a Full CD. Early 2007 they started to send promo CD’s to labels. Finally, February of 2007 the band officially received a great record deal from one of the most brutal labels in the Underground Death Metal scene, SEVARED RECORDS. The debut CD “AGONY THROUGH RITUALS OF SELF PURIFICATION” was released November the same year. After a couple of months playing shows, Jayquinn joined the group filling on the bass section adding thickness in the sound most especially on live performances. The band is now heavily equipped with massive brutality and continued playing all local shows available down town Olongapo City as well as Manila and other near provinces around. July 2008 the band was invited to play in Hymns Of Disembowelment II, a metal show held in Bangkok, Thailand wherein Disgorge (USA) was set to play on the Debut show of this death fest in 2006. This was the first show of the band overseas. After Hymns of Disembowelment II, Tristan temporarily parted ways with the band to put more priorities with his Job. The band conducted an open audition for a session vocalist. Jeryk Sebastian was chosen to fill in the slot. He was given the chance to perform with the band for four consecutive shows. October 2008, Tristan came back to the band. The band is now ready to enter the studio again as soon as all the materials for the Promo 09 are completed.

I am now recording for a new set of releases called the "Persona Series". These cassettes will be commissioned works (not by content, but by payment) for individuals. If John Smith in London, England wants his own Zebulon Kosted album, I will make a 45 minute album (one side of a 90 minute tape), 2 hand drawn mini posters, I will name the album after him (Zebulon Kosted - John Smith), and the fan will retain all rights to the recording (for use of any future release, sampling, or broadcasting rights). One copy of the album will remain in my personal collection, and one will be sent to the customer, so that the only copy that will be in circulation will be John Smiths copy! Each album is available for the ridiculously low price of $10 (not including shipping), and will be shipped in its completed form no later than 6 weeks from the date of purchase!!!
