Hailing from the Derbyshire Peak District, Downi is a prolific songwriter and accomplished musician capable of delivering her songs with sensitivity, and a voice that belies her 5 foot 2 frame.
Last year Downi decided to reveal her songs to a wider audience, and after winning an online songwriting competition she travelled to London to ' jam ' with Sandi Thom at her famous Tooting basement studio. This years festival is headlined by Billy Bragg (Friday), Seth Lakeman (Sunday) and Peatbog Faeries (Saturday) with many more top artists also performing incl the award winning The Demon Barbers and Henry Priestman.
