Down In Paris are a determined four-piece from the Northwest that came from no where. They have gone from strength to strength playing gigs up and down the country gaining support from the likes of Twisted Wheel, John Kennedy (XFM), Peter Hook (New Order/Joy Division) and many radio stations. The band have recently recorded a live session for MUTV and recording 'The Backbite Of Last Nights Adventures E.P' with Alan Smyth at 2fly studios (Arctic Monkeys, Revrend & The Makers, Pulp). Other highlights include being awarded the accolade of unsigned band of the week by John Kennedy of XFM and doing a live interview on BBC radio Lancashire, things are looking good for these lads in 2009.
Recent support slots include Screaming Lights, The Backhanded Compliments (ex-Millburn), Azzi Ibrahim (ex-Stone Roses),Little Comets, Underground Heroes, Joe Carnall & The Book Club (ex-Arctic Monkeys & Milburn) and The Vortex (ex-Oasis).
