The two brothers Ricky and Dereck grew up together under the same musical influences which brought them to form a band. Through the time being, they’ve had musicians come and go through many shows and events.
The first studio experience started in 2002 with their first EP "Point of View" and the song "Time" appeared on one of the local radio stations "CKOD 103,1 FM".
In 2003, a second EP was recorded: "Come Around". This time, the song Come Around has been played on "99.9 The Buzz". This record brought them to record in two different studios to expand their experience.
In 2006, their first real full length album called "Until this Goodbye" has been recorded in 4 studios stations.
They did many shows to promote the album which led them to successfully have their song "Tears and Stars" air on "99.9 the Buzz","94.7 Hits FM" and also some local radio stations.
They met Patrick and M-O S by sharing stage together. After a while, through their common personnalities and same interests in music such as New Found Glory, Mest, Jack‘s Mannequin (Something Corporate), Blink 182 and The Used, they finally decided to get together to truly complete Downline.
So now, in 2009, after playing on the Vans Warped Tour and gaining some new fans , contacts and a new live experience together, Downline is now officially signed with High Life Music/Universal. Stay tuned because 2010 is promising for Downline... IT'S A MATTER OF TIME ;)
