.. .... .. Formed in Kernersville, North Carolina in 2000, Down on Luck has been dedicated to bringing good music, with a slightly new flavor, to the world. Pulling influences from Social Distortion, The Misfits and Tiger Army, to Elvis, Johnny Cash and Buddy Holly, an obvious heartfelt punk/rockabilly sound was born. Will Sapp, lead guitar and lead vocals, Ian Davis, rhythm guitar and backing vocals, Nick Waldrop, bass and backing vocals, and Zach Landon, drums and backing vocals, are Down on Luck. At the beginning of 2005, despite Landon being hospitalized due to a burst appendix, the guys recorded released their first CD titled “ Going Back. “ In 2008 they began recording their second full length album.
