About Downshire (BOOK US)

Downshire is an alternative rock band from Virginia Beach, Virginia. The band has been in existence since 2006 and continues to grow in their creative mix of sound which has expanded the global fan base beyond their expectations. Guitarist and lead vocalist, Ben Stanley, drummer Wil Gradwell and bassist Nathan Rose continue their collaboration in writing new songs and will continue to tour venues around the east coast.

Downshire uses a creative mix of sounds that have been gained from many years of musical experiences. Their songs range from hardcore rock to pop rock and punk. Their many influences have helped them combine ideas into original and powerful stuff.

Cat	Jul 8 2009 12:33 AM How was your 4th? We mistakenly got stuff from Walmart. We got back and tried to fire about 8 of them up. They were duds! Then we discovered that they were those lousy pull string popper things! We were not happy. We went back to Walmart with the 1/2 burned stuff and I said "THESE GO NOT BOOM!" She laughed and refunded us. We took the cash to the firework booth across the street and discovered the over 60 year old men running the booth were deaf. I handed the guy our cash and jestured all around the booth. He understood and gave us the best array of stuff in the booth. No questions asked. It turned out well and the deaf old coots saved the day :)
