About me:
Winter is over but it's never to warm out to learn about staying healthy in the winter months. Our new zine - Wintertime Health and Healing - is now available!
The zine discusses do it yourself, herbal and home care remedies for common winter aliments and staying healthy during the winter. Includes: warming and nourishing foods and teas, sleep (why it's important & sleeping better), getting things (like infections) moving through the body quickly, immune support, and how to get rid of - or at least get through - a cold and respiratory infections.
Much of the information in the zine also applies to the changing seasons.

The HPV zine! It's a comprehensive guide to the sexually transmitted infection human papillomavirus. Along with basic information about HPV and its implications, the zine includes suggestions for prevention and herbal treatment, radical analysis of what's really going on with the much touted HPV vaccine, HPV risk for queer people, and ideas for communicating with partners about this confusing STI.

The Down There Health Collective is a group working to better understand our bodies and care for ourselves and each other in a holistic way. Down There strives to create safe, comfortable and supportive environments to learn and share information around health, sexuality and gender. We explore body and mental health issues that too often go unaddressed.
Based in DC, collective members facilitate workshops, provide affordable or free speculums to individuals or organizations, and create and distribute health-related information and zines.
