[Italian Version]
La band nasce alla fine del 2003 dalla fusione di 2 band di Livorno. Nel 2004 i Down To None registrano il loro primo Ep autoprodotto "A dying day" 5 canzoni cantate in inglese. L’Ep riscuote un buon successo da parte del pubblico e soprattutto dalla stampa specializzata che giudica ottimamente il lavoro della band riservando sempre lodevoli recensioni (tra le quali Top Demo Metalshock). Sempre nello stesso anno la band promuove la propria musica attraverso concerti live ed è ospite nel programma Database su RockTv. Nel 2005 la band decide, in modo graduale ,di passare dal cantato inglese a quello italiano. Una scelta fortemente voluta dalla band stessa e riconducibile a diversi fattori;in primo luogo un forte bisogno di esprimersi in italiano per dare cosi un senso compiuto ed immediato a ciò che il gruppo stesso cerca di trasmettere attraverso i propri testi, in secondo luogo la forte voglia di confrontarsi, con il proprio sound ed il proprio stile, nell'ostile mercato italiano. Ed è sempre nello stesso anno che prende una connotazione ben precisa e definita il DTNstudio, seconda casa della band. Successivamente la band decide di dedicarsi prevalentemente alla stesura del primo disco e inizia a realizzare i provini dell’album;di questi vengono realizzate alcune copie esclusivamente riservate agli addetti di settore. La pre-produzione ha tempi relativamente lunghi perché la band decide di curare ogni aspetto dei pezzi in modo molto preciso riservando una particolare attenzione per gli arrangiamenti di ogni brano;al termine la band decide di entrare in studio per registrare l’album di debutto affidando il missaggio a Marco Trentacoste (Deasonika, Rezophonic, DeltaV, Magazzini della Comunicazione, Malfunk, Le Vibrazioni etc) e la realizzazione del mastering a cura di Giovanni Versari per Nautilus Studio. In seguito la band realizza il videoclip ufficiale del singolo "Aria" curato da regista Carlo Strata (Mistonocivo;Vasco Rossi;Gemelli Diversi etc) per Zoomwork Production. Durante questo lavoro di studio la band ha partecipato a Salaprove sul canale satellitare RockTv ed ha effettuato alcune apparizioni live tra le quali l’esibizione con il progetto Rezophonic Project.
Il 6 Giugno uscirà il disco di esordio "Ouverture" pubblicato dalla label Rising Works e distribuito in Italia da Self;la promozione sarà curata dall’agenzia Alkemist-Fanatix Europe.

The band was born at the end of the 2003 from the fusion of 2 bands of Leghorn. In the beginning of the 2004 Down to none register their first Ep "A dying day", 5 songs sung in English. The Ep collects a great success from the audience and by sectorial printed media which judges very well the work of band. In the same year the band promotes its music through many live concerts. During 2005 the band decides, to pass from English to Italian lyrics . A strongly wanted choice by the guys, referable to various factors: first of all a strong need to express theirself in Italian to give an accomplished and immediate sense to what which the group itself looks to transmit through its lyrics, second the strong wish to face the hostile Italian market with their sound and their style.
Later the band decides prevalently to dedicate to the songwritting of their first full leght and starts realizing the album test-pieces which some copies were exclusively reserved for the media. Pre-production has been relatively long because the band decides to cure every aspect of the songs in a very careful and precise way; by the end of it DTN decides to record everything in studio to finally record their debut album under the supervision of Mario Riso, then all the songs were Mixed with Marco Trentacoste ( deasonika; Rezophonic; DeltaV; Malfunk; Le vibrazioni etc.. ) and mastered at "Nautilus Studio" In Milan by Giovanni Versari. Beyond that the band has released the video-clip for the single "Aria", directed by Carlo Strata (Vasco Rossi, Mistonocivo, gemelli diversi etc..) for Zoomwork Production & Yage film.
In the meantime DTN were broadcasted in "Salaprove" a format on the "RockTV" (sky channel) and made some live appearances including a Gig with Rezophonic Project.
Soon will be released their debut album "Ouverture" published by Rising Works records distributed by Self; Alkemist-Fanatix Europe will take care of the management and promotion.

Sempre più agenzie, etichette discografiche e gruppi ci chiedono supporto e per noi è estremo motivo di orgoglio poter accontentarli.
Proprio in questi giorni lo staff ha aggiornato tutta la parte di amminstrazione, in modo da ottenere uno strumento sempre più versatile che permetta una maggiore rapidità nella pubblicazione di tutti gli articoli. Ad oggi UGA si avvale di uno staff composto da 20 collaboratori, più alcuni free lance, pronti a spolparsi tutto il materiale che passa per le loro mani, ciò ha portato ad una notevole crescita delle recensioni che ora si aggira sulle 30 40 pubblicazioni mensili, più di una al giorno quindi.

The Fat of Excellence Ep is an exclusive remix package of unreleased Taster Peter remixes for techno don Umek, berlin supremo Oliver Koletzki and italian kraut-rockers du jour Crimea X. Our "Taster of choice" reworks S Cream to maximum effect keeping the hard techno vibe of the original slovenian mix but adding some twisted rhythm solutions to refresh this monster. While Peter's take on Koletzki's Nascita of the Monsters is all about full moon parties, deep-acid, tons of 303 and delays for a proper futuristic "west-coast flavoured" tech-house winner: massive! Nella mitica PatchworkPlace, che ha visto passare in più di 20 anni i migliori djs e migliaia di clubbers saltare nel suo dancefloor, da quest'anno per TUTTI I VENERDI', proponiamo un genere che sta invadendo l'Europa: l'ELECTRO, che è di fatto musica elettronica contaminata da strumenti e voci rockstyle; all'interno del panorama electro ci sono due sub realtà, quella Pop (sullo stile di Tiga, Justice, ecc...) e quella più Techno (sullo stile di Steve Aoki, Erol Alkan, ecc..).
