Million Dollar Listing: MALIBU
Bravo will pull back the curtain on yet another familiar world to watch what happens when ten top agents in California's tough real estate market stop at nothing to close the deal on the next "Million Dollar Listing." The six-episode, one-hour series will look at the high-stakes, cutthroat world of real estate in the high-priced fantasy lands of Malibu and Hollywood and introduce an array of colorful personalities including high-powered agents,
"Million Dollar Listing" will follow the trials and tribulations of two real estate companies, one in Hollywood and one in Malibu, to expose the intense work and competition that it takes to move the hot listing of the week.
"THE SCHMOOZER" Scotty Brown, Malibu agent, is a smooth talking former club promoter and rock and roll manager. He got into real estate because he likes people and he has a knack for getting people to like him. Scotty will attempt to sell a southern socialite's mountaintop abode and a beautifully renovated home in an exclusive community, although the seller's wife would rather stay behind the gates.
Books
I like magazines...LOL, but I've read The Road Less Traveled and The Big Book.
................
Hello my friend!!! They called me Downtown Scotty Brown. Because I lived in Downtown Chicago before I moved to L.A. I grew up in Addison, IL, a suburb of Chicago, and started doing real estate in 1978 with my family. We owned other businesses like West Chicago Waste Management and Bartlett Nursery & Landscaping, too. Anyways, I moved to Chicago in 1980 to pursue a career in entertainment since it had been a dream of mine since childhood. I wasn’t exactly sure of what I wanted to do in the entertainment business, but I knew that I loved nightlife and rock n’ roll! So the first thing I did was promote concerts and eventually opened up my own nightclub, which was called Avalon Nite Club in 1986. I was then asked to sing at the Limelight Night Club in Chicago, which basically launched my singing career. I created the Downtown Scotty Brown band and we played every week for 10 years at various locations in Chicago. I ran a jam night and artists like Billy Corgan from the Smashing Pumpkins, Buddy Miles, and other great rock & roll cats would sit in. I had a lot of friends in Chicago and still do today. After visiting L.A., I realized that there was a lot more opportunity there and, you know, the weather didn’t hurt! So I sold the Avalon Nite Club and moved out here to further my career in entertainment, since I had gotten off to a pretty good start in Chicago. When I got here I started a promotion and marketing business,I liked it a lot, because I felt like my forte was in promo and marketing. After a little while I became a personal manager for Scott Weiland, the lead singer of the Stone Temple Pilots who sold over 30 million records. I worked with Scott for four years and then decided to take a break from the rock life so I went into the movie business, which I thought would be an easier lifestyle. I started working as a location scout and manager, and worked on more than 20 television shows and films like Nip/Tuck, Judging Amy, I Am Sam with Sean Penn and Michelle Pfeiffer, Rat Race with Cuba Gooding Jr. and Whoopi Goldberg, and Deuce’s Wild with Matt Dillon and Stephen Dorff, which I also had a little cameo in. Doing this gave me an extensive knowledge of the L.A. area, the people, and neighborhoods, which would later help me with my real estate career. In addition to real estate and entertainment, I was also a certified chemical dependency counselor. I really enjoyed helping others with their addiction problems as a result of my own personal experiences and challenges; you gotta give it away to keep it. When I moved to L.A. I counseled a lot of people in the entertainment community and was on the panel for MusiCares. Living the fast paced life in the entertainment industry was fun, but I didn’t enjoy working the long hours of the movie business, and I didn’t want to travel as much because I was tired of being away from my family all the time. Since I knew the L.A. area so well, I decided that I should go back into real estate and Malibu was my favorite location. I was able to utilize my clientele list from the entertainment business and my background in promotion, marketing, and sales really helped me to excel and become a top producer. It helps being in Malibu, too, because a lot of people love this area. Ironically, I got out of entertainment to settle down and do real estate, but recently, I was chosen to be one of the main real estate agents on the new television show, "Million Dollar Listings" on Bravo TV. I like to be involved in the community, too, so I coach boys’ basketball and baseball and am a member of Pepperdine University’s Institutional Animal Care and Use Committee. I’m grateful to be living in one of the best places in the world, Malibu. And hopefully someday we’ll get the band back together!

I was a live music venue open 7 days a week. Back in the day, I was the shit. Bands that came through included Stone Temple Pilots, L7, Hole, White Zombie, The Brand New Heavies, Bob Geldoff, Crash Test Dummies and hundreds more... "Metal-chicks Wednesdays" was always fun. Our Cabaret Room featured singer songwriters, acoustic artists and

POEM OF LIGHT
Beyond your eyes exists a world That all can learn to see Within this world exists for us Infinite possibility
Many are lost in darkness And cannot find their way Because they choose to believe the lies They hear from day to day
The future's yours the future's yours, If you open your mind Discover what you do not know And greater truth you'll find
You and me and everyone are all beings of light We can all live in harmony, If we increase our sight, Open your heart open your mind, And see your path anew The greatest joy in life will come From Loving Being You!
Love all of life's Creations Take time and you will grow To know the truth and see the light and all you wish to know Your energy creates life and knowledge is for sure Come know yourself, The universe, And So Much, So Much More...

Sometimes when i look around, all i see is misery, despair, frustration and pain...
Then, i close my eyes, take a couple deep breaths, RELAX...And ask myself, "WHAT IF all I saw was what I WANTED TO SEE?" Then, I open my eyes. I see the sun, I see the blue sky, I see my girls smiling back at me, I see life...
And then, lo and behold, I see nothing but OPPORTUNITY...
