About me: I love music! I love playing it LOUD! Like ELEVEN loud! I often wish I could write songs, and perform them like U2 or others on my friend list and playlist. That's why I appreciate the music people make. If I cannot write it and perform it, then I wanna broadcast the brilliant songs, artists, songwriters to the universe! Free PR - not such a crazy idea! OK, so the likes of U2 don't really need me, however who knows where this crazy myspace page will reach. I'm mad for football - soccer to Aussies, Americans and the ignorant! Growing up in Australia where the term meant something else, you felt left out. However I lived for those Monday nights when I'd be magically transported to England and in the company of thousands of singing, chanting and passionate fans. Cheering for the underdog, hoping for Man U to lose - ah sweet memories! Yet I have no Australian team other than the Socceroos and the Matildas! In England I support Wolverhampton Wanderers - the Wolves. My Scottish team is Motherwell and anyone playing the Old Firm! St Etienne (France), Werder Bremen (Germany), Sporting Lisbon (Portugal) and Heerenveen (Netherlands) complete my European footballing allegiances. I haven't deliberately chosen minnows - although Bremen have shaken things up for Bayern Munich in the last few seasons - it's just worked out that way. I also enjoy watching Italian and Spanish football but haven't clicked with any one team. And I'm getting behind football in the US and my MLS team will be Seattle Sounders FC.
As much as football and music are a big part of my life, ultimately (woah, this is where some people might stop reading) my life is about getting to know God. True, Christianity and churches have caused many people pain and are a reason to log off now! Hey, I've been hurt, abused and mistreated within a church and by people calling themselves Christians. But I can honestly say I've never been hurt by God. I've tried to ignore Him - hey it's harder to believe than not to - but I just know He's there. Even if I don't read my Bible (which I ain't super with either, just being honest) the more I learn about nature and the human body (I've broken my back and still recovering) I see an incredible Designer at work. When I read about lives transformed such as women who've left the porn industry, I realise there's more to life than just you and me. Don't let me or other sinners inside the church buildings turn you off what is real - get to know God and you'll see what I mean. However I still welcome you to my page if you're agnostic, atheist or whatever you wanna call yourself (I don't like labels either). I'm interested in people and their life stories and experiences. I reckon everyone has a movie in them - with an awesome soundtrack that they could handpick too! And I like listening. This is why my myspace page is so full.
