Downward Dog is four like-minded musicians with influences ranging from Tori Amos to acts like Rage Against The Machine. Powerhouse vocalist Julia Bogen, guitarist Ritch Lorello, bass guitarist Fred Bogen and drummer Dave McQueen have a knack for bringing older hits back to life with renewed energy and a modern vibe. During the last eight years they have gravitated from an original alternative rock act into a band that specializes in the not-so-often-heard-but-greatly-appreciated hits of the 90s and beyond. When you see a Downward Dog show you're sure to find yourself saying "Oh Yeah, I Remember that song." Whether it's a punked-out version of a golden oldie like Del Shannon's "Runaway" or a dead on cover of the Cranberries' "Zombie," a typical night takes you through an extensive music catalog filled with songs that evoke great memories and leave you wanting more.
