Down Within is a five piece metal band from Reading, Berkshire. Formed in early 2005 the band has endlessly strived to bring a unique, energetic and exciting style to their music. With a meticulous attitude towards song-writing they aim to engage their audience with driving guitar riffs, intense drums and gritty screams combined with melodic harmonies, exciting bass lines and soaring vocals.
The band’s debut release, an EP entitled “The Heist Begins Here”, showcases both the technical abilities of the band and reflects the passion and devotion, combined with pride and enthusiasm that the band puts into both the writing and the playing of every note of every song. Released in February 2007 (with the band at the time averaging just eighteen years old) the EP has received widespread acclaim from reviewers and fans a like:
