Doxy is a trio of musicians consisting of singer/guitarist Drew Fredrickson, bassist/singer Kai Karlstrom, and drummer/singer Erik Leslie. Based out of Champaign, IL, Doxy has an eclectic mix of styles that forge a new sound, predominantly the acoustic funk style and thick chordal structure of the guitar(Fredrickson), the soloistic and pyrotechnic lead of the bass(Karlstom), unique drumming of Leslie, all topped off with the exquisiteness of three-part vocal harmonies. Doxy performs mostly original songs, however they cover a wide variety of different artists ranging from Stevie Wonder to Weezer.
