Layla	Nov 15 2008 3:52 PM Hello Doyle, I heard you in the interview with Scotty X backstage at the Experience Hendrix Show in Chicago talking about the Gnaoua Music in Morocco.What a wonderful experience. This year me and my husband spent some weeks travelling around this beautiful country and we also had the opportunity to listen to this strange mystical music in Essaouira-the "Windy City" where Jimi Hendrix spent some time in 1969. The Gnaoua were playing their drums, pipes & castanets and dancing ecstatically to reach the trance and the ritual possession. An experience we..ll never forget.
