About me:

..Who are you?..
I am a father, husband, geek, technology profesional, and sports fan, who works in software development. Some people do not care how or why things work. I am not one of those people. I enjoy researching, testing, and buying cool new tech gadgets and prefer building my own computers. I have also been working in the Software Development / QA / IT field for 13 + years.

My Vacation Project
I built a storage unit in my garage on my vacation. The left section is for my sports equipment and some tools. The center section is just shelves to replace the bakers rack that was there before. The right section is a pantry with slide out shelves to give us some extra space for canned goods and other items. This project took me 5 days since I ended up doing it alone and without a table saw. Note to self, I NEED A TABLE SAW for the next project.
..
The unit is 102" h x 65" w x 20" d. I used seven 4' x 8' sheets of 3/4 inch plywood with fourteen 2" x 2" x 96" strips for supports.
