Sounds Like
Anything with a break beat until recently. Production wise - just take a listen. As far as DJing I play most anything that either moves my ass or moves my emotions. It is honestly easier for me to find records that move me emotionaly so my sound tends to be deeper and often with a jazzy bent. I don't pigen hole myself into one genre, too many people just play one type of music, maybe 2 if you're lucky. When people ask me what play I usually tell them "anything with a break beat", but even this no longer holds as I dig deeper. I think that my new answer to this question is "anything that moves me". Simple as that.
Every pirate is a little bit crazy. You, though, are more than just a little bit. Like the rock flint, you're hard and sharp. But, also like flint, you're easily chipped, and sparky. Arr!
If you are into deep music, check out Plush's new artist, 360 joYnt. 'Magnetic Forces', the opener track, exhibits deep meaningful lyrics and beats that take you back in time; followed by 3rd sub-rockin.. tunes ('Communication', '3rd Person', and 'Across the Eyes'). These bass-lines perfectly accentuate our favor style amen-break and are even good enough for just plain listening pleasure.
Wicked liquid vibes out of Slovakia from Sigurt. Excellent break, underpinned by fat bassline and melodic effects. This is a sure fire winner that is getting dropped by Bukem, Fabio, Nu:Tone, and High Contrast. - TRACK-IT-DOWN.net
