THE STORY: Tim De Poorter was bitten by the music virus when he was little. It fascinated him.He wanted to follow music lessons what so ever! But after 2 months it became obvious to him that this wasn't his way. He had a pretty nasty struggle to find his musical genre. The music-styles he went into varied from time to time. Until his brother started to listen to hardcore and etc. Off course this new style appealed to Tim and he listened to it for a long time! All of a sudden this musical genre went to R&B, but this didn't last long. When he started going out he realised that his style was more into the hard music. The breakthough was a fact when he went to The Oh! in Gavere (BE) at the age of 16. With the help of one of his best friends, DJ Andres, he got in contact with Tommy D and Pedroh!. From the moment he met Tommy D, his life changed. A new passion inside of Tim was born: producing!!! Tommy D and DP worked together for a few months, and in these months they produced a whole shitload of tracks. Their first release was on Tomato Records. Because they got a lot of requests to play at several parties, DP decided to start as a DJ. After a few weeks of practice DP played at his first party (@ The Stars). He got more and more in contact with Dj Guarana and later on they made a fun track together (Duckz Army, now released on Bunny Recordings!). But when they saw that it was better then they expected they decided to start a whole new project, and after a few hours Tek Soldierz was born! Together with Dj Guarana he also plays at several parties as Tek Soldierz. Don't hesitate to book him/them at one of your parties ;-)
