Danny Ocean is back to his native label after his successful release on Loco Dice's Desolat label. Dpress Industries discovered his talent a few years ago when he produced dpress003 under his Magic Vibes moniker, a cool deep house ep that was also remixed by Loudeast.
Danny Ocean also recorded on the label under the name of Dhematrixx and showed his more techy-house sound. Now Danny's music finds its place between the dub house and the deep tech vibes. Two cool tracks for a welcome back.

Brand new full EP by hot producer DJ Grobas, after his collaboration with Russ Gabriel (Ferox, Mobilee) on "Between You and Me" he's back to Dpres Industries with a great 3 tracker.

"Critical Haze" Ultra-cool deep house that finds its place between old classy Chicago style and minimal deep tech a la Mojuba/Artless.

"Drozo" which is the main track that gives the name to the EP, it's a long travel to deep house basics introducing some great pads, percussions and refined grooves, this is the spanish response to the magic of Sven Weisemann on "Cabanna Fever".

"El Mar" is the more dancefloor oriented track on the EP, Grobas delivering his more techy sound, deep but at the same time plenty of groove and ready for peak time madness

In 2006 Tony Blunt signed with Dpress Industries, becoming one of the main names on the label roster. He released the "Black Series", causing a devastating storm effect within the dub techno community; a series of 3 eps in which he placed together the best of his Detroit techno and tech-house repertoire and featured remixes by the talents of Soultek, cv313, Pantha du Prince, Brian Aneurysm and Mikkel Metal. Now he's worked out 2 new tracks exploring his more minimal side, taking out the melodic components and the floating atmospheres. "Shouter" is a track which finds its place in the middle of his exploration for this new sound, combining classic elements and a more straight minimal techno feel. "Golden Lake" is the new form of his music, a funky electronic groove, a pulsating minimal mover. DJINXX aka Electronic Resistance, is a fine producer, bold jockey and gifted label owner. Owing to his latest EPs on Delsin or Ovum and thanks to the growing reputation of Mezzotinto, DJinxx' prolific production platform, the French musician is now at the top of his potential. His version of "Golden Lake" is a tasteful techno anthem, bringing hard groove back to the label; beautiful and perfect for the floor. An essential remix already supported by Chris Frontier, Dan Curtin, Gel Abril, Jeff Bennett, Laurent Garnier...

Fernando Grobas Rocha (aka DJ Grobas) is a very experienced producer and DJ who resides in the north of Spain. He set up his own Thrasher Home Recordings label 4 years ago, which become very popular within the house scene, releasing quality music by JT Donaldson (Lowdown), Loudeast (Odori), Tim Paris (Crack and Speed) and Del Costa & Pedro Goya (Music For Freaks.) Grobas put the label on pause 2 years ago to concentrate on his Djing and busy career as club and events promoter, but always kept in his mind and soul the desire return to the studio, and finally he's made it. We are pleased to welcome him back with his first new EP released on cult label Dpress Industries. Here Grobas delivers 2 tracks moving through his classy house sound and into more deep and obscure house realm. Taking influences from old school dub techno and modern minimal house, he has produced "Bubby Dubby", a majestic techno-dub piece, full of reduced atmospheres and a trippy melancholic melody. "You and Me" is the second track, a deep house gem that has conquered our hearts thanks to a beautiful fusion of deep and minimal house accompanied by some smart percussion - for fans of Mojuba, Styrax, Deep Explorer, etc... Russ Gabriel (Ferox Records, Planet E) is another man who is very busy and in demand right now. He's in charge of remixing the "Bubby Dubby" track, taking out the atmosphere and dub cadences, he's re-built the track for more dance-floor oriented action. Raw and minimalistic techno elements make it very playable, guaranteeing a top crowd reaction.

Brendon Moeller has spent the last ten years quietly building up an impressive catalogue of releases, including albums such as Beat Pharmacy on Francois K's Deep Space Media imprint, and releases like Echologist for Mule Musiq. More recently, he's put out rated dub techno 12”s under his own name for Echocord and Third Ear, and last year his 'Jazz Space EP' was especially rated for its unusually high quality. Different names, different labels, but all of Moeller's releases are wide-open affairs, synthesizing dub, minimal techno, jazz and African influences into deep, organic dance music with careful attention to detail. Now Brendon is the man in charge of remixing the last episode of the "Gold Series" by Pablo Bolivar. Under his Beat Pharmacy alias, he worked out two epic and space dub techno remixes of the original "Across The City". The Club Dub Version is a dancefloor oriented dub techno piece featuring some of the original sampled vocals, while the Dub Version is even calmer, a futuristic dubby diamond. Beat Pharmacy is one of the key players in the dub galaxy and all his background and African roots are shown in this beautiful work. Mind your head, sleepery when dub... "Across The City" is the main track - a dance-floor smasher that contains all the elements required from an excellent Pablo Bolivar production. It's a minimal-tech groover, full of floating elements, with Pablo again discovering his more dubby side. Featuring Remixes by Westpark Unit (Farside Records) & Blunt (Thump Elektroniks). Westpark Unit (aka Frank Herbrechter & Ingo Sänger) delivers a warm & deep vibe mix to rock the party, while Tony Blunt's trademark is his floating mix of dub and deep Detroit influences.

Dpress Industries launches the "Gold Series" by Pablo Bolivar. After the success of the previous "Black Series" by Tony Blunt, the label has decided to keep playing by the dubby techno rules. Pablo Bolivar is a well known and respected producer with an extensive discography that includes productions and remixes for labels like Regular, Galaktika, Blurred Vision, Bay Street, Justified Cause...now he's the man that will take us for a deep ride through his best and more personal sound. "Into the Televerse" is a 10 minute deep tech-house joy, full of melodic elements and a moody groove, the catchy bass-line will keep everyone's minds busy while some subtle elements join the ride.  "In My Hand" is a 3 minute beautiful soundscape that will find its place close to Brian Eno's ambient explorations and the Static Caravan IDM.  Modern Love's enfant terrible Andy Stott gives his very personal touch to "Into The Televerse".  We do not have enough words to describe how marvellous this version sounds; top classy dubby techno, this is a true ocean of ambient and dub music, a luxurious dream of landscapes and never-ending rain, the deep groove in mind but with the heart in the hand.

Third and last instalment of the "Black Series" by Tony Blunt on Dpress Industries, already considered a classic series and the most followed and successful releases on the label in the past 2 years. Playing the right melodic techno rules, Blunt produces nearly 15 minutes of fantastic grooves called "Retrospective" and "Over You" on the edge of the minimal tech-house field but incorporating romantic characters that create a unique evolving scene comparable to the early works of Circulation, Jeff Bennett, Layo & Bushwaka.... Mikkel Metal (Echocord, Kompakt) is the man behind the astonishing remix on the B side. Prior to becoming one of the better torch carriers for the Basic Channel school of minimalist dubby techno, Mikkel Meldgaard was playing guitar in a number of shoegaze-inspired rock bands in his native Denmark. His interests became increasingly electronics based, and by the end of 2000 he has his first productions as Mikkel Metal out on Hal 9000. After an mp3 release for Datamusik, he became a flagship producer for the Echocord label, in addition to releasing a pair of 12"s for Kompakt during 2003. Since then he has been considered one of the main names within the renewed Detroit Techno scene. Mikkel translates the happy and catchy original mix of "Retrospective" into a dirty digital dub-techno tune Basic Channel style. As he explains "...It ended further from the original, you should be able to recognize some of the original parts in the remix, however there weren't that many characteristic sounds, mostly the melodies to work with..." He used the one half of a theme which plays together with some delayed guitar recorded himself. Pumping bass dubby-techno for the fans of Andy Stott, Echospace, Quantec, Deepchord, Chain Reaction, etc.

Part 2 of the well received "Black Series" by Tony Blunt on Dpress Industries. Blunt delivers an epic Detroit techno anthem full on paths and chords. "Deep Tunnel" is a powerful and groovy slice - a well produced track that contains the classic sounds that represent the most melodic and housey side of Blunt. "Pieces" is a space-techno masterpiece based on evolving atmospheric elements that starts with a broken-beat techno rhythm and develops into a beautiful piece of straight sci-fi techno, perfect for afterhours or a "Blade Runner" OST Re-version. Remixes by Pantha du Prince (Dial) and Brian Aneurysm (Iron Box Music). Hendrik Weber's current and probably most influential project is "Pantha du Prince". Hendrik Weber's nervous elegance, damned sexy and glamourous, has a vast knowledge and experience in Indierock, New Music and Techno. Taking the raw elements from the original "Deep Tunnel" track he takes us to a new level, creating a marvellous Minimal Tech-house version that contains omnipresent and basic melodic lines accompanied by some psychedelic wobbling sounds - a deep bass joined by a crunchy rhythm which does not underestimate the influences of Noisepop nor Minimalism. Brian Aneurysm has been producing electronic music for almost a decade but by 2000, a drastic shift happened, he started teaming up with mutual techno lover Eric Estornel (Maetrik, Mariel Ito) who introduced him to forms of music that he had not properly experienced until then: Minimal and Electro. That shaped his musical style so much that by 2001 he started his own label IRON BOX MUSIC. And with his background in industrial and heavy metal, his minimal sound started to take shape in its own way. This new version of "Deep Tunnel" is one of Aneurysm's best remixes ever. Deep, Industrial but melancholic, basic and raw minimalistic techno, profound sounds that take us on a ride inside his electronic mind, an unforgettable and well conducted explosion of sound from beginning to end.
