.... Hey there. My name is Darryl, what’s yours? I’m a stand-up comic originally from Antigonish, Nova Scotia, Canada. But now I live in California...the other "CA". In between I lived in Toronto for 7 years and New York City for 1 year. Basically all that means is that I’m getting old.
I’ve been on tv, I’ve been on the radio. No, I’m not rich and famous. Although once at a bar in NYC a girl asked me if I was somebody famous. So maybe I am famous and don’t know it. Although I’m sure that I’m not rich.

little known facts about Darryl Purvis:
-though he has never read the Bible, like most comedians, he considers himself to be an expert on the subject
-as a child, he was actually taken from his parents by Children’s Aid and given to a pack of wolves. After a few weeks being raised by the wolves, he was given back to his parents only after it was discovered that his commute to school would be shorter.
-was the last ever draft pick of the NHL’s California Golden Seals. After it was discovered that he couldn’t skate, the team was disbanded. Sadly, the team folded just days before one of their most beloved annual promotions, the wildly popular "Club 2 Baby Seals To Death And Get A Free Small Pepsi Night".
-those voices in your head...its Darryl! ..
