General
My alter ego Daryl also enjoys singing and when able is a keen member of the Brighton and Hove (actually) Gay Mens' Chorus.

We've had numerous successful and applauded concerts and have also supported many worthwhile events in the community.

Examples include performing at the Lord Mayor's Supper at the Royal Pavillion, Brighton's very own Golden Handbag Awards and we have even sung at the Foreign Office.

A small team from the Chorus also entered Eggheads and appeared on Television. Whilst we did not win we had a fantastic time and it was a very entertaining show.

Other interests include Theatre, Travel and, most importantly, socialising with my friends.
Music
My music taste is very eclectic but does have a predominant bent as dictated by my other activities. I'll leave that to your imagination - or you can ask.
Movies
There are many films I have enjoyed for varied reasons. The range is broad again from classic The Cassandra Crossing to The First Wives Club, Harry Potter and The Day After Tomorrow. No rhyme or reason - although I always seem to particularly favour films Bette Midler and Meryl Streep have appeared in.

Most recently I went to see Sweeny Todd with Johnny Depp and Helena Bonham-Carter. Fantastic film although I suspect I wasn't meant to laugh at some of the points I did. Hey ho - I enjoyed the film.

About me:

.. I have been working in drag for over 15 years as a host mainly of Karaoke and Piano Bar. In 2007 I decided to work go full time and so far I am thoroughly enjoying myself.

I have worked in many bars across the UK with some success and look forward to the challenges that new bars and new audiences bring.

My show comprises banter with the audience, some jokes and excellent singing - all of which is live. The intention is to create a friendly atmosphere where everyone can relax and enjoy a good evening out.

I am very aware of the toll new licencing laws, the smoking ban and various other factors have had on bars and as a new act I ensure my pricing is realistic and affordable.
