Pretty much anything from Stephen King, Anne Rice, Scott Adams and Neil Gaiman. I'm also a big fan of Ian Fleming's "James Bond" series, as well as C.S. Lewis' "The Chronicles of Narnia".
Heroes
Everyone who has served with honor and respect in the uniformed services - military, fire, police, medical, etc. It's not the athletes who work half a year, but the real people who do their job every day, keeping everyone else safe and secure, whether it's your own block or half way around the world.
Currently deployed to Kabul, Afghanistan, however normally reside in the Texas Hill Country area.
