About me:

Gareth was born and raised in the Gower area of South Wales. He trained as a professional actor and has worked in theatre and television. In the past, he has also written, produced and directed touring shows with his own company.

He is now an associate director of a successful London / Wales based management for professional performers, and is also the director of Sang de Vie Productions Ltd.

As a writer / lyricist, he has been involved in many musical theatre productions, including two previous shows that were broadcast on BBC and independent radio in the UK. He was also the lyricist for a specially written award winning show for children.

"Dracula", the musical, was his first professional collaborative musical theatre project with Orton and Lynn.

Review quotes from a recent issue of WHAT'S ON STAGE - The UK Theatre Magazine :..

"...A powerful new Gothic musical that remains faithful to the original novel"

"The songs deliver just the right measure of dramatic passion to get the blood pumping"

" ... Michael McCarthy hitting all the right notes in the title role"

"This 70 minute CD has already gathered a battalion of fans"

"...has enough dramatic bite to keep you listening well beyond moonrise"

The Editor - What's On Stage Magazine.

..

Gareth is currently working on a screenplay which is based upon a popular 19th century gothic tale. There will be more details about the new project during 2009. He has recently rewritten the book for the Dracula musical, which now also includes new lyrics structures.

UPDATES
At present, we (Sang de Vie Productions Ltd.) are in pre-production for a co-produced feature film (No. It‘s not a musical). More about this later in 2009.
The new version of the Dracula musical remains on course and is scheduled for our attention later this year.

Who I'd like to meet:

Myself, when I was younger. To make sure I avoided all the bad stuff between then and now. LOL
I have joined MySpace to interact with people from all over the world, and from different social and career backgrounds, I would not normally meet.
As far as I'm concerned, this profile is an "open house" for everyone. I'm not a biased person. Neither am I into cliques, based on particular beliefs, gender, age, appearance, music preferences or careers.
I do appreciate open minded and non-judgemental people and those that respect other peoples' way of life and their opinions; even if they differ from one's own life experiences.
I do not appreciate narcissistic, condescending or arrogant people. Nor those who feel the need to express themselves through violence or their wealth.

I have registered my interest as being networking and friends.
I do not make a habit of requesting contacts but, if I have contacted you first, please accept it the friendly way it was intended.
Thank you.

Hi! Just wanted to make sure all my friends know that my new erotic horror novel THE 13TH is now in stores everywhere! I hope you'll check out this debauched and demonic horror ride!

There's even a website devoted just to the book, with an interactive map of the places and characters at www.the13th-horror.com.

Edward Lee called THE 13TH "A double-barreled shotgun blast of macabre entertainment -- an expert amalgamation of grotesquerie, eroticism, mystery, and pitch-black occult horror that no fan of the genre can miss."

And Gary A. Braunbeck said, "John Everson's The 13th is the first out-and-out horror novel in a long while to actually scare the **** out of me while reading it. It's stylish, extremely well-written, filled with richly-drawn characterizations, and boasts a labyrinthine plot worthy of Umberto Eco. Trust me -- this one will fry your nerves and break your heart."

    Hey!

Thanks so much for the add and supporting my music :-)

I'm an Aussie Singer/Songwriter about to release my debut independent album Ladybug, featuring the song Blackbird which I wrote as a tribute to all animals on the planet and the amazing life lessons they can teach us when we respect and appreciate them.

If you have a chance to check out my music, I would love to know what you think.

Any comments or friend requests are always welcomed and very much appreciated :-)

Thanks again for your support, hope all is well in your world!

Hi! Just wanted to make sure all my friends know that my 2nd horror novel SACRIFICE was released this month - and is in stores everywhere, including Amazon.com. I hope you'll check out the book! Here are a couple reviews it's gotten:

“SACRIFICE is not for the timid or weak of heart, it is a full frontal assault on your senses. It is a dark, brutal, bloody and terribly frightening book. Everson went deep into some dark abyss to bring this book to the light of day.... I highly recommend Sacrifice.”
    —Famous Monsters of Filmland

“John Everson manages in SACRIFICE to dispense buckets of blood, provide edgy perversity, and walk the tenuous tightrope of horror and sex without falling: It’s rather an amazing feat.” –Hell Notes
