The entity known as Dragnun, came about initially as a concept album from the mind of Lucian Reinfeld. Now, not only has the album been put into motion, but a few undead souls have joined Lucian on this quest to pay tribute to their influences. Many have compared this union of macabre maniacs to a "horror rock Me First and the Gimme Gimmes" as they play various cover versions of songs by bands they not only consider friends and peers, but great talents that the world needs to hear, no matter what. Some would argue the need for a "horror rock" tribute band, but Dragnun handle this with the utmost sincerity, passion and admiration. Most of all, it’s good clean scary fun! This realization was born in January of 2005. Not more than six months past, and a foundation was already being built. Joining Lucian on bass is as follows: TB Monstrosity of Blitzkid astounding onlookers with his terrifying vokills, Nate from Late Night Zero providing the crunch on rythym guitar, Gibby on lead guitar and Kadaver on the drums. Although Dragnun has only been together a short amount of time, they have collectively known each other for years.. On June 11th, 2005, Dragnun made their debut into their local scene by opening the "Summer Of Blood" show presented by Bats Blood Event Mngt., Then another appearance at the "Horror Rock Double Feature" show on July 25th, 2005. So prepare to hear a lot more from these ghouls!
As time passed, Priorities changed and "Dragnun" as we know it went into a 2 year Hiattuss, TB's Schedule with Blitzkid Picked up and as time went on, K. Dandridge (Formerly Known As Gibby) had relocated farther into VA. & Lucian was also thrust into a different direction which lead to a personal Hiattuss from Music all together. Thus leaving the project lingering in a dark void.
However, The idea was reborn into darkness in May of 2007, When Local Murderer "Timothy Cross" discussed reviving the Band and having a go at it again With Lucian, Over a period of time, finally, A "Sit Down" was arranged and Cross was on board to see where the blood led.
Rejoining the Band in their efforts, was "Kristopher Dandridge" (Formerly known as Gibby), Returning on Lead Guitars & his orignal posistion as Co-Founder of the band. After a few months of debate, Cross brought in Some Co Hurtz for the Skin Bashing Duties & E-Roc on 2nd. Guitar. Remaining with TB as 2nd./Guest Vocallist and Manager, The band began preparing with their new front man, Tim Cross.
After careful deliberation, the 2008 "DRAGNUN" Line-Up is complete.
Featuring Lucian Reinfield on Bass/Backing Vokills.
Kristopher Dandridge On Lead Guitar/Backing Vokills.
E-Roc Has assumed the Skin Bashing Duties!
And Welcoming back former Members "CROW" & "TIM CROSS"
On Vokills!
After almost killing each other many times, the monsters have finally formed an unearthly alliance that's here to stay, Crow and Cross are BOTH screaming murderous melodies while Dandridge and Lucian make the strings bleed and Eroc plays the war drums. There is No Stopping Them!
Now no one is safe! Get to the high ground, coz the blood's gonna flow...
Dragnun Welcomes Fellow Murderer & Long Time Fiend! "Eddie B." as full Time Manager & Photographer, as Well as the Man behind the DVD footage to come. "TB Monstrosity" is still a member of Dragnun, taking over some secondary Management duties & when he isnt slaughtering The masses with "Blitzkid" Or "The Automatons" He will be Slashing the Stage with Fiends of Dragnun once again. So, with that said, you can expect to see alot more of this collaboration of Vetran Killers in the near future!
Keep it Bloody & STAY DEAD!!!
