I have gone from an Air Force brat to an Army Wife. I've always considered myself strong, both mentally and physically, but I've found that there is a whole new side to deployments when you're the spouse, instead of the child. But like everything else in my life, this can only make me stronger, and I'm going to do my best to take care of everything here, so he has one less thing to worry about "over there".

I listen top a little bit of everything except country and opera. Rock, metal, alternative are my favorites, but I also listen to lots of other music. Going through an expansive phase at the moment. Any musical suggestions are appreciated. :-)
Movies
Ok, you caught me, I like little kid movies. Charlie and the Chocolate factory, Happy feet, Over the Hedge, madagascar, and all the old disney movies. I really liked Advent Children, too.
Television
I don't really watch tv that much.(Although I think Tonya and Theresa are getting me addicted to Army Wives.)
Books
Anything and everything. As long as it is not one of those long, dry boring school texts or romances, it's great.
Heroes
Anyone is military uniform, any one who is serving their country even when they're fighting for something they don't believe in.
Anyone who LOVES a service member. The Army says "there's nothing stronger than a US Army Soldier", but they're wrong. The ones who stay behnd and hold life together while they wait for sons, daughters, spouses, and parents are JUST as strong, if not stronger.
