With a name that carries rich spiritual & symbolic meaning,
signifying a time of harvest (a tribal mango), Manila born and
Southern California raised LADY PAISLEY (a.k.a. "dragon.fruit.lady.paisley") has spent the last 13 years on O'ahu cultivating a sweet, authentique sound that is both unique and familiar. Having graced a number of local venues, magazines and newspapers, she continues to gain the support of listeners with
her wide array of flavor & delicious musical style. She is the female voice behind Chinatown's ever-evolving collective TEMPO VALLEY, DeShannon Higa's improv ensemble G.I.A. as well as a new project called ATLAS:MOTH, which features Seph1 (vocal acrobatics), Mark Lindberg (strikes & taps) & Ikaika Tecson (electronic ivory) and Henry Robertson (low range lines). They are thrilled to present a monthly event @ Indigo in Chinatown every 1st Tuesday in August-October. ATLAS:MOTH explores colors in jazz fusion, in addition to their renditions of jazz standards, which are a special highlight. Paisley is also fortunate to be a part of many other musical "collaborations in brew" such as up & coming electronica producer Oo-m-i's debut album, which she, Seph1, Mike Love and some select artists will be featured on. Having graced a number of venues on O'ahu/Maui/Lana'i/Los Angeles/New York, Paisley is excited to embark on many more adventures through her future travels and tours.

Hi Jen. My Lil ones are no longer rugrats.. They've graduated to yardrats.. Outside is there new passion. Found many new ways to get dirty! They are getting big. Mochi gurl is 3 going on 12.. Hey!! I just got back on the island for good! I've been wanting to stop by to say Hi and let you know but I've been waiting for Jazz Minds. I got here on the 24th. All of Mikes roommates are leaving for the summer so we have this place. Its pretty fun riding around on a bike, I have to get used to it again. I just hope I just fall off of it like I used to when I was little =)
