What is Dragonlips!? In short, Dragonlips is a simple compilation of my thoughts, my fears and my desires. Music has always been therapeutic for me in so many ways. Dragonlips embraces an alter-ego force within myself; a dark place where I wrestle with reality, acknowledging my weaknesses and faults.
The music is written around the message of the lyrics. So much of what we have today lacks purpose and intent. Each song is cold self reflection of sorts. A deep dive into myself to try to understand why I am how I am, and why I feel as I do. These are the scary parts inside that, for many, are simply off limits. I've long felt that in order to fix you, I must fix myself first! Dragonlips is my fix!
Hope your summer is absolutely WONDERFUL! I’ve been keeping busy, and there are a LOT more shows and festivals coming up. Photos from Crue Fest are now up on my website www. LynnShook. com check them out! I haven’t been able to keep up with posting the photos here and on the site…sorry. xoxoxo
Awww I have to agree with Alison that Vegas was too much fun and I am so glad we all went...so thank you for taking her hehe. You know, when we all get together I just have the absolute best time and laugh so hard. You and Eric together are quite the comedy act hehehe. Seriously though, I just love you both so much and can't wait to see you again!!!!!
Yes yes yes...that's what was missing from Seether...bad ass gold glasses and a tin of cinnamon altoids. I knew something was missing but I couldn't quite put my finger on it :) Ahhhhh we are so ready for Vegas!!!! Can't believe it is a week from tomorrow. Bring on Panicpalooza part 2. And maybe...just maybe Alison and I can find a super cool bootleg shirt with messed up tour dates to go with our Columbus one :D
Got a text from Alison and she said you really liked how our shirts turned out :) Yeahhhh I am so excited!!! Can't believe we will be seeing you guys in just about 2 weeks. At least now the lump on my head is gone from our lovely Seether concert. Man if you think Panic crowds are crazy you should have been at this one...or should I say be glad you weren't :)
Oooohhh myyy goosshh!! Lookie at the hair (or what's not there!) It looks great!! My 4 yr old niece just donated some of her hair to locks of love...is that what you did? ...do you have photos of the chopping event?
Hope you had an uneventful trip back home...gosh it must have been nice to be somewhere where it is warm :) Counting the days until you guys are here...have a wonderful Easter weekend!!!!
