I graduated high school in 1975 and had joined the U.S. Navy in 1974 in the reserves and went on active duty in Aug. 75. I left the Navy in 1980. I worked in electronics while in the Navy and off and on after I got out. I had my own construction and painting business for 8 years.
I drove tractor trailers over the road for five years starting in Jan 1999, then a little over a year driving a tractor trailer flat bed locally. Because of a neck and shoulder injury I stopped driving flat bed and started driving a dry van tractor trailer again in March 2005. March 2006, due to the rising cost of gas I have found a driving job closer to home driving a dry bulk tanker and a dump truck.
I also work on cars when I have to, write poems, and manage my web site.
I'm married since 1984 and have 3 Sons.
Our oldest son John graduated on May 13th 2006 from college at PCT (Pennsylvania College of Technology) with two Associates degrees. The first one is for Electronics Technology Computer Automation Maintenance Emphasis and the second one for Electronics Technology Communications/Fiber Optics Emphasis. He went back and got a bachelors degree in Bussiness Managment Technology and graduated in the spring of 2008. He is now working and living in Maryland.
Our middle son Andrew graduated high school and Berks Vo-tech school for construction on June 13th 2006, and then joined the U.S. Marine Reserves. On Friday Nov 17th 2006 he graduated from the Marine corp. basic training at Parris Island, S.C. and is now a Combat Engineer. He spent a year and a half at PCT (Pennsylvania College of Technology) for Construction Management, and a half year at Kutztown Universty working towards a degree in teaching. His unit has been activated and is over seas.
Our youngest son Michael is in high school and is going to Berks Career and Technology Center for Carpentry. He has joined the Army Reserves on Dec. 12th, 2008 and went to basic this summer. He just got back from Ft. Leonard Wood, MO to finishing his senior year of high school. While at basic he developed a cronic dislocated shoulder which he needs to have surgery to fix. He was not able to finsh his training because of his shoulder and will have to go back after its repaired. When he graduates high school, finishes basic training and his M.O.S. school he is planning to go to college at PCT (Pennsylvania College of Technology).
