| General | (Short Version): I'm REALLY into Dragons. I really enjoy sci-fi and horror movies, sci-fi shows and stuff like CSI, Law & Order and House. I'm fascinated by the unkown. Some of my interests include (this is not a complete list, by any means) UFO's, ghosts, natural disasters, the Bermuda Triangle and Atlantis.
If you spend any time at all getting to know me you WILL find that some of my interests and hobbies don't quite seem to go together. As much as I'm really into Dragons, sci-fi, horror and anything involving a computer...I also enjoy what my loveable brother calls "granny hobbies" like cross-stitch. So, you get kindof a grab bag with me. :D
I tend to spend a lot of time on my computer listening to music and playing games. I love sci-fi strategy games. Some of my favorites are the Master of Orion games, the X-Com games, Alpha Centauri, the Civilization games, etc. I also play an awesome online game called Chosen Space. :P
| | Music | I'll listen to just about anything EXCEPT country or rap. I can't tolerate either of those for long. My list of favorites includes Disturbed, Marilyn Manson, Nine Inch Nails, Slipknot, KoRn, Static-X, Apocalyptica, Seether, Tool, Nickelback, Linkin Park, Evanescence, Three Doors Down... That's pretty much my current playlist. lol
My favorite track right now is Inside the Fire by Disturbed. :D
| | Movies | Anything "scary" is bound to get my attention. I LOVE sci-fi horror. But straight horror is great too. Some of my all-time favorites are the Alien and Predator movies. Although, I wish they'd stuck with the comic book story for AVP. That was a real let-down.
I also like a good comedy every once in a while. But I don't watch much drama unless the story really grabs me.
| | Television | I like stuff like Stargate SG-1 and Star Trek DS9. I don't really watch TV much. Mostly, I watch movies. But I think I've watched every movie I own at least a dozen times now. lol
| | Books | I mostly read nonfiction...anything that catches my interest. If I read any fiction at all, it's usually sci-fi/horror stuff. I do read romance on occasion, but it has to have a REAL element of danger to keep my interest for long. Vampire romance will draw me in pretty quick. lol
Lately, I've been reading the Twilight series. Twilight is awesome. The movie was a disappointment, though. lol
| | Heroes | Hmm...interesting topic. My favorite superhero is Wolverine. I love his attitude. :D But in real life, I'd have to say my uncle is my hero. He's cool. In fact, he's the one who got me into comics in the first place. Kinda funny.

About me:
My favorite online game is a turn-based sci-fi game called Chosen Space Galaxies. I'm currently building a mining fleet to help some friends rebuild the economy in their galaxy after a war. If you're interested in giving it a try, there are plenty of opportunities right now for new players. Just go to Chosen Space Galaxies, register an account and start in the Altian galaxy.
If you'd like to try mining, choose a light miner as your starter ship and then look me up for an invitation to my fleet. My player name is Sonya. You can find me by clicking the Search button at the bottom of the game screen and entering "Sonya" in the first search box. Then just click on my name and click the Send Message button to send me a message and ask for an invite. Make sure to let me know you found me on MySpace. If you think you'd rather trade, you'll want to start with a light freighter and send a message to my friend, Slayer6950.
There are plenty of resources to help you get started. I also provide my new miners with training, help in locating asteroids to mine and tips to make the most of your turns.
