We are a musical/ritual performance ensemble. Our music is an extension of our magik and manifestation with our totem and protector Heenun, the dragon deity of Niagara Falls, which is where we call home. The serpent energy has an interesting history.
The ancient peoples that inhabitted the region worshiped the serpent power, and it was handed down as the local deity to new migrants through time. Around the time the first European explorers, the Iroquois nation massacred the last tribe to have ties to the dragon. The Iroquois, after their victory, claimed that their sky god hero had slayed an evil, two horned serpent in an epic battle at Niagara Falls. The Iroquois had infact spread their influence throughout the entire Ohio basin, including Niagara. Their myths are full of battles with large serpents. It is obvious when you consider that the region was once the home of the Serpent mound builders, whose archaic forms of ritual practice included the worship of giant serpent power.
However the dragon energy still manifested in many ways. In the mid 90's we began to work with and worship the dragon spirit, whose lair is in an etherial cave behind Niagara Falls. He has shown us such gratitude that we named our troupe after him, and have been enjoying a beautiful and inspiring relationship with him ever since. Again, there is much more infomation about this on our web site. In a nutshell, that is our magikal and spiritual foundation.
We love to travel and interact with pagan communities when ever we can. Our live preformances are interactive and uplifting. Not many people can stay seated. As ambassadors of the drum we have seen just how far accross every boundry the drum can cross;social, sexual and cultural. Our friend list will clearly show that.
We are always trying to keep up with our MySpace friends. We will get back to you! We thank all of our freinds and fans who have helped make us who we are. We never forget who our family is! Love and blessings to you all.

"It was at random that we met, A chance that not many get. When I heard the "Uh Oh", How was I to know! That you would turn out to be my special friend, Someone who could be there, Until the end.
No matter how I feel or what I do, I know, in my heart, That I can count on you.
I've never seen you, Heard you, or touched you. Those kind of chances are very few.
To meet someone from far away, Never knowing if they're here to stay, Not knowing if what they say is true, Of what they're doing and telling you.
So far away, but yet so near, The "not knowing" is the fear. Is it truth, or is it lies? Will a heart grow, or will it die? Either way, the bonds of Friendship's strings are tied.
One's needs are met, Some with regret. Some with hope, Some with pain. But still, the answer is plain.
If we hadn't met, On that very day, Things would be different In every way.
The emptiness may be filled, A life may start to rebuild. A heart may be broken, Or made to mend; All because of that "Random Friend". "
THANK YOU FOR YOUR WARMTH, LAUGHTER AND GIFT OF FRIENDSHIP IN MY LIFE JODIE
