Hail, i am the Dragon's Ball!

I am Croydon's only free monthly dedicated alternative music showcase. I cater for the startlingly original, the genuinely alternative, the outrageously funny and the pant-wettingly exciting! No genre is taboo, no style forbidden. Variety is what i crave. I do not put on boring, unoriginal bands!

I am located in the
Green Dragon

in Croydon
upstairs (which is a strange place for a ball). Come and see the panaramic views of Surrey Street Market, The Ship and that derelict building across the road which used to be Brannigans and then some other shitty club.

Every month i bring you the sounds, the sights and the smells of the kind of bands and artists you'll never hear on commercial radio but whom you shall ne'er forget.

Acts from all around the country fill my ball, as well as your favourite local bands that your mate is in.

YOU CAN ENTER ME FOR FREE! THERE IS NO ADMISSION FEE! YOU NEED NOT PAY TO ENTER! ENTRANCE COSTS FUCK ALL! THERE IS NO CHARGE TO GET IN ME!!!

I happen the first Friday of every month. I start at 8:00. I contain live music until 11 o'clock and DJs/special music until bedtime*. I am an over 18s only event. Youngsters without valid ID will not be allowed in me!

Forthcoming acts are listed as my top friends because i like them so much. You will hear their songs playing in the player up the top when you load this page (providing i've had time to upload the songs). You've probably heard about half the song by the time you've read this far. It's great, isn't it? This is exactly the reason you should come!
