Dragstrip 66 is LA's longest running underground dance club. January 12th, 2008 marked our 15th Anniversary! Dragstrip 66 was co-created by Mr. Dan (Gina Lotriman) & DJ Paul V.
Some people say Dragstrip is 'world famous' - yet there's still people in LA who've never even heard of us, or have yet to come. We like when word of mouth works its magic & new people keep arriving along with our longtime faithfuls, and we appreciate each & every one of you!
Dragstrip 66 started as a monthly event, and for the time being, will now be a QUARTERLY EVENT (4 parties yearly).
We encourage our patrons to dress up in drag for the theme,
or in any mode of cross-dress/masquerade. Drag isn't required, tho -- but it IS more fun, right?
And as you'll see in the pix, we get everything from the garish to the glamorous, and there are NO RULES in how to look!
The crowd at Dragstrip is predominantly gay, but it's a totally mixed, casual, and fun group of EVERYONE! All are
invited to jump into the vibe, regardless of sexual orientation.
