Dragstrip Kitty is a 3-piece female power-pop/rock group out of Hollywood, California. We are a new rock group that is being produced by Gina Schock from the Go-Go’s and Andro Ernst (Green Day, AFI). We also have a TV show in development with MTV called Girls Rock.
Blending rock, pop, punk, new wave and power-pop, we do music on our own terms and express a musical genre we call “GARAGE-POP”! The group is comprised of Mexi (Lead Vocals /Lead and Rhythm Guitar), Alexis X (Bass / BG Vocals) and Jenny (Drums / BG Vocals).
Blending the musical fusion of textured post-pop vocals, sugar coated crunchy guitars, driving bass lines, high-heeled propelled drum attacks with power-pop hooks; Dragstrip Kitty creates a signature sound of their own!
