DRAHDIWABERL is Austrias Shock Rock Band No 1. It was founded by Stefan Weber back in 1969 to be the most excessive band in the land. In 1978 FALCO, Austrias biggest international rockstar, joined DRAHDIWABERL as a bass player. He was with the Band until 1982, when he had his first big hit "Der Kommissar". DRAHDIWABERL recorded several albums throughout the years. In 1991 the Band was invited to New York to play at the New Music Seminar in Manhatten. A video is still available from this event. In 2004 Stefan Weber received an Amadeus award for his lifetime achievment from the Austrian music industry. In 2008 DRAHDIWABERLS first movie "Weltrevolution" was released. After the last Show at the Vienna Life Ball in May 2008 the Band retired. .
