About me:

and give the kids a show
I’m just a man. I’m not a hero.
To us, this project is all about respect, because isn’t that what MCR thought us, to respect, not only ourselves but also everyone around us. There seems to be something wrong with respect lately, not only in the MCRfan-community but in the whole world.
My Chemical Romance is a band -5 beautiful people on the inside and the outside, a fantastic crew and a wonderful fan base- that wants to change the world or at least have an impact on people’s lives. And they have, they really have.
Because of that, it’s so sad that they don’t get rewarded in the way they should be. They lost their freedom just to give us ours. They have to be surrounded by bodyguards all day, just so they wouldn’t get attacked (and we really mean attacked) by fans. People treat their loved-ones like dirt and even push some band members out of their way just to get to other people in the band. This happens, and a lot more does.
Is that the way that we should treat the guys that saved our lives, by taking theirs?
We don’t think so!
We don’t want to say that some MCRfans are better fans than others, because they’re not, and that’s why we should help each other! This project is in no way a guide to become the perfect MCRfan, because that person will never exist.
We just think that as MCRfans we ought to show people some ways of fanness are not very respectful –neither to yourself nor to the band- because some fans really don’t want to see that jumping on Bob’s back is not the right way to express you love.
The main question here is: ‘How far can you go?’ (Hence the title of this project) When MCR says it’s almost impossible to meet up with fans like they used to do because it is too dangerous, something’s wrong!
We don’t want to say you can’t love them, because please do! We both have a healthy obsession of our own but when these ‘healthy obsessions’ turn into something way to stalkerish, something has to be done. Wanting to kill yourself because some of the guys got married (and is happy) isn’t a good thing.
We believe some fans get blinded by their obsessions, we really do hope so, because what we heard people have done are so bad and so disrespectful we feel awfully sorry for the guys. They really don’t deserve this.
We choose to believe that the fans, who like, run into their bus, pull their clothes and hair, etc. just do this out of excitement, because we refuse to believe that so called fans truly want to hurt them.
If this doesn’t stop, we are afraid that MCR will have to stop doing what they love to do because it isn’t safe anymore, nor for them, neither for the fans. Have you ever noticed how many boy bands don’t survive? We think some fans are really treating MCR as a boysband and it makes us scared, it makes us sad.
This is the band that you love. This is the band that did so much for you. Do you really wish to harm them?
