About Drake Music

Drake Music is an organisation working with disabled musicians of all ages. Drake Music offers the chance to explore, compose and perform music at every level, using technology and other creative options. Along with our workshops and one-to-one sessions, we offer training in assistive technology and develop new technologies and software. We currently have regional projects in Bristol (South West), Manchester (North West), East Midlands and London. We work with musicians who would like to compose, play and perform music and aim to promote music by disabled musicians within the music industry. We offer projects for fun and for professional development and also work within schools in all our regions teaching young people music skills using assistive technology.

The Pool is looking for a part-time assistant for the Pool’s Sound-beam programme. (25 hours per week £16,000 pro rata gross per annum) If you have • Experience of working with people with a learning disabilities or community groups • Experience with music/music technology in particular sound-beam equipment • A commitment to delivering a person centred musical programme to individuals with a learning disability and are interested in above post please contact the Personnel department at the ELT office on 0191 269 3410 for application form.
