Music has always been a big part of my life, From Pops and my uncle playin the Guitar to Moms Jammin the Biggest Chunes every Saturday/Sunday Morning(Mostly R&B classic motown classical and hits from the 80s). Come to think of it my 1st big electronic gadget was a tape deck.
I can Jam Out to jus about any type of music aslong as it moves me I'm go to go. From House, R&B, D&B, Rock, Oldies 80's(love 80's) Hip Hop and Reggae I'm Down to Jam out.
My 1st Record I ever got was '89 Bobby Brown Dont Be Cruel(my Aunt hooked that up)My 1st Hip hop tape was Dj Jazzy Jeff n the Fresh Prince girls in the world aint nothing but trouble and the 1st real hardcore CD I've ever heard was in '92 Dr.Dre Chronic. From those 2 albums I feel in love with Hip Hop. Jazzy Cuts and the Doc musical remedies, n Who Could 4get Snoop's sleep voice on G thang?? Hip Hop!!
Other than lovers Rock and Bob Marley Reggae was really not that big to me till '93 where I was introduced to DanceHall music. Chaka Demus & Pliers - Murder She Wrote and Buju Banton Mr.Mention took my life by force and to this day I havnt givin it up!!
I must Big Up Master T and Xtended Mix on Much Music, cuz even tho Soul in the City was Hype and Rap City no doubt ... Master T hit us to all types of Urban Music which was Major.
I took a Trip in '97 to my HomeLand(the place of my birth) Guyana to Visit my fams and thats when my Uncle(moms lil bro) Hooked my up on Stone Love Movement. I've Owned Many Clash Tapes b4 that trip but to See that Sh!t Live......
wWoOOoWw. Needless to say when I got back my Focus was gettin turntables which in 2k2 I bought my Techs.
Its Not a Major thing 4 me to make it Big and be 1 the top
selectahz in the world I do it cuz I love it and if I happen to get there thats jus an added bonus 4 the thing that I love.
