Generell haben wir samstags desöfteren erlesene Aufleger an den Turntables. .. 2008 beehrte uns DJ Eff (aus Brüssel) im Juni mit Oldschool Hip Hop, Breakdance, 80's Boogie und Dance Classics. Webster mit tiefsten Funk, rawsten Soul und Soundtracks. Sir Matthew Fox spielte Crossover, Modern and Northern Soul, Deep Funk, Boogie und 2Step. Neil Perch brachte uns reine Roots Reggae und Dub-Vibes. Dioz (zur Abwechslung mal ein weiblicher DJ) soulful Hip Hop & Reggae. FLX Downbeat'n'Breakbeat und Electronics. Tomdog legte Deep Funk und Rare Groove auf. kleinski Stil-übergreifend groovig... 2009 hatten wir an den Rädern aus Stahl: fangkiebassbeton, Shareholder Tom, Bob Humid, re-troman, Marc Werner, Mr. Monster, Webster und TomDog. 2010 stand im Januar als Erstes Oliver Tepel an den Tellern. Weitere Aufleger werden folgen... Die exakten Dates stehen immer oben unter "upcoming shows". .. Anfang Juni 2010 haben wir gerade ausgelassen eine 2 Jahres-Feier bestritten. Aufleger des Abends waren: DJ Berry, TomDog, Mr. Monster, Webster, Marc Ian Lansley, fangkiebassbeton, kleinski, re-Troman, Oliver Tepel. Und Ernest Drake sowie das Ordnungsamt beehrten uns live. .. Stöbern lohnt sich - Nachschub kommt ohne Unterlass rein. .. Stlistisch unterliegt der Laden keinem Diktat - Chancen Beat-Nuggets und Rare Grooves zu finden sind so gut, wie über eine Hip Hop-Promo zu stolpern, dubbige Schätze zu ergattern, eine Deep House 12" zu erwischen, ein Blue Note Deep Groove Original zu erwischen, Elektro aufzustöbern, Bay Area Thrash-Metal, Hardcore Punk, Stoner Rock, Black Metal, Psychedelic/Prog oder Detroiter High Energy-Rock zu sichten. .. Zudem muß man bei uns nicht unentwegt stehen, die Toilette darf auch von Kunden benutzt werden, das Personal ist freundlich wie kompetent und verdursten ist auch nicht angesagt... ...und ja! - es ist trotzdem ein Plattenladen! ;).. Wegbeschreibung:.. -> U-Bahn-Haltestelle Kalk Post (Linie 1 oder 9) , ein kurzes Stück die Kalker Hauptstr. entlang, an der Kreuzung in die Kalk-Mülheimer Str., diese verfolgen, dann rechts in die Engelsstr. und links in die Niessenstr.
