DramaWay specializes in offering Creative Programming geared and modified to special needs individuals. We also work with the mainstream as well.
We primarily offer drama classes, but we do offer creative movement and art programming as well.
Danielle Strnad, is the Founder and Director of DramaWay. A process oriented creative arts company geared and modified to meet the needs of individuals of ALL abilities. DramaWay offers arts programming to individuals ages 3 and up, specializing in Drama/Theatre Programs for individuals with special needs.
Danielle has a diploma in Social Service Work from Sheridan College and a BFA Degree with specialization in Drama In Education from Concordia University.
She loves to perform, but since she founded her company DramaWay in 1999, she has had not much time for such fun!!!! Although she did recently go into the studio to record with the band The Sword and The Spirit and will soon be singing back ups for the band VASLAV.
DramaWay has been recognized by CBC's Moving On TV Program, Metro news, Canadian Living Magazine as well as Community Living Toronto for making a valuable contribution to individuals with intellectual disabilities. Danielle recently became an Award Winning Director with her DramaWorks group running out of Erinoak as they were awarded The Emerging Performing Arts Group Award by The Mississauga Arts Council. Her programs have also been recognized by The Annex Gleaner and The Oakville Booster.
She has worked alongside Drama, Dance & Art Therapists at The Centre for the Arts in Human Development in Montreal. She also taught Creative Drama Instructor at Etobicoke Creative Arts Studio & Children's Garden Nursery School
Taught drama with ArtsExpress Outreach Program and The Drama Workshop. She's worked as the Drama Coordinator & Summer Camp Director for Children's Arts Theatre School, a Theatre Specialist and Supervisor for Social Club, Parks & Recreation, City of Toronto. She has acted in productions put on by companies such as Muskoka North Players, Elysian River Theatre, Imago Theatre, Geordie Theatre Productions and Pumpkin Theatre. She also has International experience as a Volunteer Outreach Worker in Jamaica and United States of America.

Looks like you're doing some amazing things in drama. We're originally from T.O. and my wife used to do some work for Erinoak.
