DRAT was founded in April 2006 in Hamburg by Henning Margull (guitar) and Björn Sonnhoff (drums). With the influences of their previous bands MAD DOGGIN' (metal, Hamburg) and BRIGHTSIDE (hardcore, Kassel) and after a short time, it was clear to continue where it stopped for both. Fullblast is the deal!!!!
Henning aquired some great experience with his previous band Mad Doggin'. They were signed at Tiefdruck Musik and released 3 records and 2 videos in a period of 2 years, which were telecasted for a couple of weeks at Viva Plus. Furthermore they supported bands like Soulfly, Ill Nino and Stuck Mojo on tour.
Björn slammed the drums over the last five years for Brightside. He joined the band during the European tour as they supported some of the shows for Cro-Mags. After the tour they entered the "Stage One Studio" to record their last album, True Force, under the wings of Andy Classen. They played some shows with Biohazard in Greece and appeared a few times at the "With Full Force Festival", where their last show took place in 2005.
In September 2006 Kay joined the band. The right man on bass was found. Finally, DRAT forced the search for a singer and completed their lineup with Robin Musahl at the end of the year 2006!

we are part of the official fans community of Luciano Ligabue, an Italian singer who will be on concert at "Markthalle" in Amsterdam on 18th April.
