I think authors have been my real heroes. Robert Heinlein's books had a huge impact on me when I was young. Probably a big part of why I am Libertarian. Charles Bukowski, Tolkien, Clifford Simak, Mathew, Mark, Luke, and John.
Who I'd like to meet: I like people with opinions. But not just any opinion. But opinions they are passionate about. Opinions based on something other than what they heard off the 10 o’clock news. Interests. Need those too. And no... “I like to go to the club, dance, and get drunk” doesn't count as an interest.
I hear so many times that a person is Eclectic. If that is so then why does the kaleidoscope they call their life only have one color?
