www.last.fm/music/the+draughty+jabber the dRAugHtY jaBBeR started in 1995 between iker Lezcano and Jamsey in Bilbao (Spain).
Soon due to different musical likings they splitted and started they "solo" careers. iker Lezcano continued with the dRAugHtY jaBBeR project on his own.
After 3 studio albums STRIPED 2002, PIANO SESSIONS 2004, NEW SOUND APOLOGY 2006 and an UNPLUGGED ALBUM recorded in London 2007, the draughty jabber will release their new album later on this year 2008.
FROM THE MEWS 2008 will be the title to the new album containing 10 new tracks written over the past 2 years. For the first time the draughty jabber will also launch a Musci Video for the album first single SURVIVE.
This video was recorded in October 2008 in various locations through out London. Directed by upcoming artist Bubi Canal and starring Carla Hood as a trouble girl alone in the crowd.
It is not the first time the draughty jabber works with Bubi Canal. in 2004 iker Lezcano wrote scores for videos by Bubi Canal POORCELANO and Laura Salesa WAR CHILD 2004.
Around that time the single "NYLE DREAMS" was the first release of the band after Jamsey left.
THE PIANO SESSIONS ALBUM in 2003 including 16 tracks of piano songs included some colaborations with Laura Salesa and Jamsey. Favourite tracks were "WHAT DREAMS ARE MADE OF", "DEEP IN THE FOREST" and "LET ME GUESS".
During this period iker wrote some scores for videos by LAURA SALESA "WAR CHILD" and BUBI CANAL "POORCELANO".
Guest appearances in previous albums were Lourdes Lain, Jamsey and Laura Salesa. This new album FROM THE MEWS recorded entirely at Rumsey Studios LONDON will feature Laura Salesa, Elena Garcia and Tom Dale.
A late song "FREEDOM" written for a war videogame project at Universidad de Deusto was used in 2006 as the opening title of NEW SOUND APOLOGY.

Hey Iker! How's your week going?:) I want to invite you to my next band gig- it's going to be a good one! We're playing at the O2 Islington Academy 2, as the supporting act of The Foxes on their UK tour! The gig will be on the 26th of June (Friday) at 6:30pm.
Entrance for the gig is £8, but it's only £6 if you'll be on my limited guestlist. If you want to be on it, let me know who's coming with you, and I'll put your names on the guestlist. It's such a mint venue, I really hope you can be there!:)
