It was about the Marine Special Forces guys who went ahead of the rest of the invasion force when we started Gulf War II. It was written by the Rolling Stones reporter who rode with them. The unit's job was to ride ahead of the main force and spring all the ambushes meant for them. It was a truly fascinating read, seeing the guys from my generation (the gamer generation) going through war. I'd recommend it to anyone.
I also enjoyed every single Neal Stephenson book. | | Heroes | Batman, because he's a superhero without actually having superpowers; he does it through strength of will. |

About me:
WELCOME TO HURTSVILLE! No really, I'm actually pretty boring. Been married since May 2005, have a house, dog, and two-car garage. I wish I was stuck on a deserted island or something, just to say I was living an adventure. I do lots of things trying to light that adventurous spirit like shoot guns, watch doomsday/survivor movies, autocross my WRX, and punch the living crap out of this punching bag here in my room. I don't go out a whole helluva lot, I'm currently keeping myself occupied playing fantasy football and arguing politics on the internet (yeah I'm a libertarian).
