Interests

  • General

..Art (creating and looking at), movies, reading, cooking (and eating it), music, geocaching, photography and poker...
  • Music

..My playlist shows some of the toons I like. Although the first few are soundtracks, I'm a rocker really so like all the modern alternative rock.
  • Movies

..I like pretty much all movies. It's a curse. I can go watch a movie and totally enjoy it and the people I'm with hate it. Maybe I can just sit back, switch off and enjoy. SO, I like comedy, thriller, sci-fi, fantasy, mystery, drama, historical. All kinds...
  • Television

..Battlestar Galactica, Firefly, Ghosthunters, Destination Truth, Mythbusters, CSI, Top Gear, Kitchen Knightmares. You'll notice this is mostly reality TV. Sorry, bit of a junky. Bu BSG is JUST amazing. Anyone who doesn't watch it should and anyone who doesn't like it probably thinks it's science fiction.
  • Books

..I'm reading a lot of non-fiction at the moment. Not sure why, but I just can't get into any recent fiction book I've tried. I've read a few books about quantum physics and how time works. A book about quantum computers that was facinating. One about the life of Einstein and his search for a theory of everything. I'm currently reading The Lost Gospel which is about the discovery of the Gospel of Judas. I'm not reading it for any religious reasons, more a historical archeological reason. I'm also reading a book by chef and traveller Anthony Bordain.

About me:

..

My Real Home Page
I'm a Brit, transplanted to the wonder that is Indianapolis. I studied art and computer science and now work in a book shop (go figure).

I've been a software consultant, an IT manager and then got fed up of working in an office and met my soul mate, so moved over here and married her.

I spend most of my time working, then sleeping, creating art and selling computer models that I make. The rest of the time is split between eating, watching TV and playing poker.

You can usually reach me online through:

ICQ 17637096
AIM, MSN, Yahoo - drawbridgep
IRC I'm usually in freenode.net rendergods

    Don't fret.
My tardiness at commenting people back on MySpace means that I'm already back.

I know, I tried and tried to get over it but I couldn't stand being that low on the list any longer. Lucky for me I get a second chance at the book business.

Boooo I'm down there with Tyler and the other quitter. JERK.

The job is going okay. I absolutely HATE HATE HATE training because there are at least 2 complete idiots and 3 technologically retarded people in the group. Other than keeping my sarcasm in check it's going quite smoothly.
    Miss you guys!!!

What is a pigwhip drillbeard anyway and why is that you? Is that some crazy british mumbo jumbo?
  • Mar 14 2008 3:34 PM

Since you're the only British person I know, you're my go-to guy for British phrases. I remember love a duck and are you having a giraffe but what was the other one? Also, what does it mean when you call someone a benny? Or maybe it was just benny, not A benny.
