Daniel Conti
heads up a talented group of professional artists with a wonderfully nostalgic sound that is primarily guitar based, with heavy blues and classic rock influences. Drawing Back was named because the music draws back to those earlier music styles popular in decades past.Daniel Conti is rocking the Texas music scene from the beautiful Hill Country town of Marble Falls.
Daniel Conti,19, heads up the award winning band Daniel Conti and Drawing Back, who continue to enjoy a constantly growing following,and are performing all around Austin and the surrounding Hill Country.
With Alex salinas on drums and Eli Roden on bass ,Daniel and his band are turning alot of heads!
"What Goes Around, Comes Around" is an Early Preview EP CD with five songs, including covers and original compositions. It was recorded when Daniel was 16 ,with 2 other 16 year olds.
Daniel Conti and Drawing Back Live from 6th Street,Austin,Texas is a demo we threw together to take to Memphis when we participated in the International Blues Challenge.
Daniel Conti is awaiting the release of his debut album "Strange Beauty",currently being produced,mixed and mastered by Frank Marino!The album is due out summer of 2009!

Heading up the band,is lead guitarist and vocalist Daniel Conti. He began learning the guitar at age 14. Daniel cites Frank Marino, Jimi Hendrix, Robin Trower, and Texas legend Stevie Ray Vaughan as his biggest influences. He is also influenced by a long list of blues players and rockers that have shaped his style: Otis Rush, Buddy Miles, Kim Simmonds, Roy Buchannon, Eric Clapton, Freddy King, Howlin Wolf, Muddy Waters, Albert Collins, Carlos Santana, B.B. King and Alan Haynes, among others.
