I believe the mankind will never fully comprehend His word. He is of course the creater of everything ..how could one comprehend something so amazing? Thus is why we have so many different 'branches' of Christianity in the world today. I'm trying to make sense of His word to the best of my ability by researching controversial topics-just as everyone else is. However, at the end of the day, I believe God knows people's hearts and knows of people's intentions and I believe that He will use these things as a basis to judge someone on. Also, I don't believe it is wrong to have differing opinions on such topics but as Christians we should strive to be Christ-like because He did encompass the perfect man. Therefore, regardless of whether or not one believes that a man's body is a temple for the Holy Spirit, one should be able to safely assume that smoking marijuana recreationally is not benefitting the body which happens to be His creation that we are distructing.
