We create highly limited, unique graphic tees. Each one is hand silk screened on shirts from American Apparel so in a way each one is unique in how it's made and the outcome of the screened image. You can look at and purchase shirts on our webpage by click "VISIT US HERE" above...or our url is http://www.drawlimited.com
In the near future, once things start rolling for us, we hope to begin donating a certain amount of money each time an individual (like yourself) sends to us one of your doodles. Now we won't just be donating it anywhere, we want to be able to give to different art schools around the U.S. to help keep up those programs.
Draw Limited began its start back in 2006 when a simple idea about selling t-shirts was tossed around between us two partners of the company, Jordan Roland and Sarah Roberts. It wasn't until late 2007 that the idea popped up again to start a clothing company. Jordan and his co-worker at the time Jimmy were in line to do a talent show when Jimmy mentioned the idea of him and Jordan selling some of their doodles at the show to make a few quick bucks. It was then that the idea of draw started to form, later that night Jordan told Sarah about the idea of doodles and it was then and there that Draw really started to become an actual company vs. an idea passed around between the two.The ball really began rolling, and just this year, 2008, the partners began to put the company together and with the help of friends and others, the company has been able to grow and evolve into what it is today.
On September 13, 2008 we launched our first line of tees along with our website, http://www.drawlimited.com, and it's just the beginning.
What we base our tee designs around are doodles and other “throw away” art to which most people only see a silly sketch done out of boredom to pass the time. On the contrary, us at Draw see something so much more and want to showcase this realm of art.
Every few months a theme will be released by us to which people can send in their doodles relating to the theme posted on our website. The theme for our first line was Halloween in which both of us asked people to doodle in their spare time an array of monsters. Rightly dubbed “Monsters Are Real”, the first three tee designs were chosen by vote from doodles people submitted and limitedly printed onto shirts. Though not all the doodles submitted could be made into shirts, an art gallery on our site displays the array of monsters that people drew.
We have high hopes for the future of our company. To give back to the arts and keep it up in schools across the U.S., both of us plan to begin donating a certain amount of money for each submitted drawing we receive per theme. We both also hope to show people that they are artists, no matter what mainstream tells them what's good and what's bad.
Being huge and successful isn’t a priority in us running this company, instead it’s that they grow to have a loyal bases of customers and that the customers find they are themselves a part of the company.
